In the spring of 2021, we opened Blu Canoe, a small shop nestled on a small island. The pace is unhurried, and creativity thrives. Here, we bring together the things we love—treasures from small makers and like-minded artisans.

Preserving a Piece of History

Once upon a time, there was a small fire station on a quiet island just over the bridge. Built in the 1920s, it served the community for decades and became a cherished part of the island’s story.
In the spring of 2022, Blu Canoe was honored to step in as the caretaker of this historic gem.
We’re committed to keeping the spirit of the little firehouse alive, ensuring it remains a safe and happy place for the island community to enjoy—season after season.
